The Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) has announced an exciting collaboration with Victoria’s Secret & Co. to introduce its Growth Accelerator program in Nigeria. This groundbreaking initiative, implemented as part of The Tour Impact Fund by Victoria’s Secret, aims to uplift women entrepreneurs, promote gender equality, and foster economic empowerment.

Shared Vision of Inclusivity

The partnership between AWIEF and Victoria’s Secret is rooted in their shared vision of creating a more inclusive world. Both organizations are dedicated to advancing the opportunities and success of women entrepreneurs by equipping them with the necessary resources and tools to thrive in the business landscape.

AWIEF Growth Accelerator

The AWIEF Growth Accelerator, established in 2017, is a flagship program designed to support high-growth-oriented ventures led or owned by women. Through comprehensive business development training, mentorship, advisory services, and access to finance, the accelerator empowers women entrepreneurs to scale their businesses sustainably.

Call for Applications

In 2024, AWIEF and Victoria’s Secret will select twenty women founders or leaders of innovative, growth-stage businesses in Nigeria to participate in a seven-month investment readiness program. Priority will be given to technology-based ventures and those operating in key sectors such as agriculture, health, education, and renewable energy.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for selection, businesses must be women-owned, women-led, or have products/services that benefit women. Additionally, they should be based in Nigeria, innovative, scalable, post-revenue, operational for at least three years, and seeking investment or funding for expansion.

The deadline for applications is March 24, 2024, at 11:59 pm West Africa Time (WAT). Interested entrepreneurs can apply through the provided link, and only applications meeting the specified criteria will be considered.
