Introduction

Egypt’s leading smart mobility solutions provider, MwaslaTech, has announced a strategic partnership with Streamax Middle East Technology, the global leader in AI-powered commercial vehicle video surveillance and fleet management systems. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in advancing Egypt's transport sector.

Formalizing the Partnership

The partnership was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at MwaslaTech’s headquarters in Cairo. The event was attended by Yasser Sedky, CEO of MwaslaTech, and Samer Alish, CEO of Streamax Middle East Technology. The MoU outlines a comprehensive plan to introduce advanced electronic payment, safety, and security features in an integrated solution for Egypt’s new smart taxi service.

Strategic Vision and Goals

Yasser Sedky, CEO of MwaslaTech, emphasized the importance of this partnership in achieving their vision. “Our partnership with Streamax represents a significant step towards realizing our vision to enhance the transport sector in Egypt. By integrating Streamax’s advanced AI technology with our extensive local expertise, we aim to transform safety, efficiency, and passenger experience in smart taxi services,” he stated.

Elevating Urban Mobility Standards

Samer Alish, CEO of Streamax Middle East Technology, shared his excitement about the collaboration. “We are excited to collaborate with MwaslaTech, bringing our advanced solutions to improve the management and safety of taxi fleets in Egypt following our record success in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. This partnership will elevate urban mobility standards across the region,” he commented.

Key Components of the MoU

The MoU focuses on joint efforts to provide a digital meter connected to the vehicle and a control center for electronic fare calculation and receipt printing. This initiative aims to enhance financial inclusion and transparency within the taxi system.

Additionally, the deployment of AI-powered camera surveillance technologies will protect both drivers and passengers, ensuring a safer service.

Expanding Collaboration and Enhancing Commuting

This agreement builds on the recently announced collaboration between Hala UAE and MwaslaTech. This collaboration will offer an integrated taxi meter allowing trip booking through mobile applications or street hailing without prior booking. Furthermore, it will provide a safe travel experience for passengers according to international standards, transforming daily commuting for millions of Egyptians and tourists.

Transforming Urban Mobility

By leveraging advanced technologies and strategic partnerships, MwaslaTech and Streamax Middle East Technology aim to revolutionize Egypt’s urban mobility, starting with the New Administrative Capital and expanding to other cities nationwide.
