Anoop Hariparsad: Digital Energy Business Unit Leader

Anoop Hariparsad has been appointed as the Digital Energy Business Unit Leader for Anglophone Africa. Hariparsad, who has been with Schneider Electric for 16 years, previously served as Offer Manager for Digital Power.

In his new role, Hariparsad will oversee marketing activities across the SADC, East Africa, and West Africa zones. He is tasked with achieving specific targets for various activities within these regions. Hariparsad’s long-term plan focuses on driving growth and exploring new market opportunities for Schneider Electric’s Digital Energy products.

Karim Yasser: Home and Distribution Business Unit Leader

Karim Yasser has been promoted to the role of Home and Distribution (H&D) Business Unit Leader for Anglophone Africa. Yasser has been with Schneider Electric for nine years and brings a wealth of experience to his new position.

Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Yasser will oversee a market spanning 29 African countries. His primary focus will be on stabilizing the H&D business unit, fostering a new team structure, and aligning its performance with organizational goals.

Yasser’s responsibilities include conducting market analysis, developing product offerings and pricing strategies, and leading go-to-market initiatives. His immediate objectives are to drive the adoption of smart home solutions within the Anglophone cluster and to respond to market demands with relevant products. Yasser envisions increasing market share through a diversified product portfolio tailored to the needs of partners and customers.

Yasser’s career at Schneider Electric began in 2014 as a Senior Distribution/Project Sales Engineer. He has since held various roles, including Offer Manager, Channel Marketing Manager, and Home and Distribution Marketing Manager within the NEAL organization.
