Userguest, a Moroccan startup focused on helping hotels optimise their direct revenues, has successfully raised EUR2.2 million (US$2.4 million) in seed funding. The fresh capital will be directed towards accelerating the company's growth and driving innovation in its product offerings as it continues to expand globally.

Userguest: Revolutionising Hotel Revenue Management

Launched in 2018, Userguest offers a fully automated solution that enables hotels to increase their direct website revenues. The platform curates personalised messages and creates intelligent incentives designed to boost conversions, enhancing the visitor experience while maximising hotel profits.

Backed by Leading Investors

The recent seed round was spearheaded by Al Mada Ventures, with additional participation from CDG Invest, Saviu Ventures, UM6P Ventures, Kalys VC, and Plug & Play. Renowned business angels Philippe Limes and Thane Kuhlman also contributed to the investment, underscoring confidence in Userguest’s potential to transform the hotel industry.

A Vision for Future Growth

Co-founder Hicham Benyebdri expressed his excitement about the new funding, stating, "This investment validates our vision of creating a fully automated platform that helps hotels optimise both their conversions and revenues. We have built strong relationships with key hotel brands, and this backing will allow us to take Userguest to the next level, improving hotel performance and enhancing the experience for both hoteliers and travellers."

Expanding Global Reach and Product Offering

Operating in over 30 countries, Userguest has already generated over US$100 million in direct revenue for hotels since 2019. The latest funding will be used to further develop the platform’s innovative features and expand its market presence. A key focus will be on enhancing the sales team to penetrate new markets and solidify the company’s leadership in the hotel revenue optimisation space.
