The idea for Umcebo Brands was born out of a combination of personal motivation and a desire to empower others. Nhlapo founded the agency in 2020, drawing inspiration from his late great-grandmother, a woman whose strength and determination became the bedrock of his entrepreneurial spirit.

Since 2020, Melitec has accomplished key milestones, including the installation of an 11kV overhead line at Zamfresh, transformer commissioning at Kabumbwe Milling, and solar installations for homes and small businesses.
